IECAT
IECAT stands for Innovative Educational Concepts for Autonomous and Teleoperated Systems. A consortium of U.S. and European universities sharing experiment hardware to establish tele-experiments in the areas control, robotics, and telematics, which can be accessed by remote students from partner universities via internet for engineering education. Projects are supported by the FIPSE and the European Union.
 

VVL
Within the program "Virtual University" (VVL) of the German State Baden-Wurttemberg, a consortium of Univsersities develops experiments to be controlled via internet. The experiment is focus on utilizing telematics and controls for engineering education in automation technology.
